I was in Kirkwood and looking for some lunch. Looked up nearby places on my phone and found The Pullman. Never heard of it, have you? It was listed as a “Gastropub” on Yelp (hold your rotten tomatoes – I simply use Yelp as a directory and bookmark service.)
This was their fried chicken sandwich, a haphazard mess of cheese and bacon, with an afterthought of singed chicken chunks, served alongside brunch potatoes ala every country club steam-tray buffet in America.
The bacon was good.
