Over the long weekend I took yet another trip, this time to Santa Monica to visit a friend and enjoy the west coast scenery. It wasn’t really a food trip, which was nice for a change. Mostly we walked around, checked out the “show” at Venice Beach, drank beer all day in the sun, and partied in the hills one night.
Good times, but I’m glad to have zero trips planned for the rest of the year while I train for Ironman Florida in November. I should be able to cook and blog a bit more as well. I hope to take on some nice cooking challenges, especially utilizing the grill/smoker over the summer, as well as get out to some new restaurants.
