Some stuff I’ve been saving that I wanted to pass along. That is all.

The Sunday Paper already has a Best of 2009 post. We’re not half way through the year, but even more atrocious than SP’s timing is some of the reader picks (Chin Chin for Chinese). And what’s with some of the categories – “Best Bar or Restaurants to Break Up In”. People really go out to a bar to break up? I agree with some of these choices, but it’s pretty lame to jump the gun and post a best of ‘09 list in May.

blah.

Grilling season is upon us, but the economy is in nuclear winter. Answer – “Grate Finds”, a selection of inexpensive meats and how to best utilize them on the grill.

Want to save even more on that steak? You may want to consider Cow-Pooling.

I called Buckhead Beef and they wouldn’t sell me direct, so I might look into the above option. I think freezer space is my only issue.

Here’s a cool pizza stone idea.

And finally, I received word that On June 11th (tomorrow), Atlanta area Panera Bread locations will have a free sampling of their new summer fare, and it will also be a fundraising event for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Buy a frozen lemonade and $1 will be donated to CHOA, helping to send sick children to summer camp.

This will be going on all day, from 6AM to 9PM. Enjoy yourself a lemonade and help out some kids.
