If you are ready to apply your new wine tasting acumen, Woodfire Grill is going to have a champagne tasting on April 22 for $15. Woodfire rocks, as seen on Dirty South Wine today. $15 is a good price, but let’s be real, they know I’m going to stay and eat! Unless I hit up the buffet at The Doll House right down the road (of course)

I haven’t been to Kozmo Gastro Pub yet because it’s OTP, but I’ve been hearing good things, and their new Wine Wednesdays may be enough to get my butt out there.

Speaking of “gastro pubs” (I’m really tired of that phrase) I plan on hitting up the Holeman & Finch brunch after the ING race this Sunday. If there are no burgers left when I get there, I’ll be heartbroken.

Of course, right across the street there is the new small plates menu at Restaurant Eugene. Sounds fun.

One my side of town (Westtsiiiiiide throw it up!), the new 5 Seasons is under construction and Hop City Craft Beer will be there hosting the grand opening party next week, April 2 from 6 to 9PM.

Repeat Atlanta has a post up where they mention a code (SAVE) you can use on restaurant.com until the end of the month, allowing you to get $25 gift certificates for $3. I haven’t tried it yet, and there are quite a few stipulations with a lot of these cards, but it’s worth a look.
