More entries in my series of awesome food from all over the net. One reason I really like doing this is because it effectively “saves” all of these recipes for me. I can click on the “All Over the Palate” tag on my main page and see all of them, or I can search for them. I also print recipes to PDF, save bookmarks, and mark my favorites on Tastespotting.

How do save the recipes and food ideas you want to use in the future?

I am thinking of developing an app (with an iPhone interface as well) that will allow me to save recipes in text, attach files (I have some recipes in word docs and PDF), and save links to outside recipes sources. You would be able to tag each entry, so you could quickly search based on those tags (example of a tag: “mexican food”, “quick meal”, “vegetarian”,etc. ) The app would be real lightweight and simple. I know sites like epicurious and foodtv.com have recipe boxes, but this would let you aggregate from all sorts of sources, public and private. Thoughts?
