I would be very suspicious of a sandwich that didn’t cost $12. When will people get over the idea that a sandwich or salad should cost less? Good ingredients cost good money. The old adage that “you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more true in the wonderful world of dining.

I really liked your comments about bloggers and others bashing places that simply want to sell food and beverages at an affordable price. Not every chef wants to be famous, not every restaurant opens to be “the in spot.” People should judge a restaurant, bar or hangout etc. by the sincerity of the people working there. RIP to your little pub and good luck to your Verde. Sincerely, Liz

I recently enjoyed Bang Bang Shrimp at Bone Fish Grill; and would like to make it at home.  I have looked at several recipes and find them confusing; by chance do you have a recipe for Bang Bang Shrimp that you would be willing to share.
    Thank you,

Jimmy, I am a former co-worker with your Dad and am on Facebook with him, and didn’t realize that you are a food blogger in Atlanta.  My family and I live in a county north of Atlanta.  We used to come into Atlanta and do the food scene when my husband and I were still working, now reitred, but enjoyed seeing the newer restaurants on the scene.  I have enjoyed Bachannalia for many years, and several of the others you posted.
