I was craving Soondubu madly this past holiday weekend. Since my last visit to So Kong Dong, every cold day has made me think of this warm and spicy Korean soup. As I was driving back from Greenville to Atlanta on Saturday, I realized I would be going through Duluth and I could hit up Super H Mart for some supplies. In addition to having all the requisite Korean ingredients, Super H also sells beef bones in bulk so I was able to prepare the Ad Hoc at Home beef stock, which of course I could then use in the soondubu.
Since I got my Mac Book Pro, I’ve been wanting to try my hand at video, so here ya go, my first attempt at a video blog post. Be gentle.

Love the stir frying w/ chopsticks Jimmy – very Asian
Complete overkill w/ the ad hoc beef stock. Have any leftovers you want to send this way? :)

Nice work grasshoppa! Very vivid colors but I had no sound on the computer because I have the wires configured incorrectly I suppose – so , I appreciated the silent film feature of the words inbetween the action! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been doing videos for a bit, and that was better than mine.

Watched it with the sound turned off and had the “Benny Hill” theme song running through my head the entire time!
That said, it looks awesome!!

Thanks everyone I appreciate the comments! Making the videos is a lot of fun, I hope to get better.
Joe – your videos are hilarious and fun to watch, so if you think mine are up to par, that means a lot.
Sean – yeah, it was overkill, but I had been wanting to make the beef stock anyways. I still have 1.5 quarts (the other 1.5 quarts went towards 4 servings of soondubu) left in the freezer…now I need to decide what to make with it!

Between “Soondubu” and “So Kong Dong” and “Ad Hoc”, it took me a minute to remember what “Mac Book Pro” was. ha!

Jimmy – you’re a natural. Anybody can prepare from a recipe but you cook! There’s a huge difference. I see Food Network in your future!!!!!!!!!!
