I guess I have a lot in common with that Decatur Wine guy :-) Seriously though, that sandwich brought back memories of the killer banh mi that Pangaea used to crank out. Wish Butch and the gang were back on the Westside! I agree on your comment about the space; a bit too Miami mod for me. I must be the only blogger/foodie who doesn't like this place. I was there late last week and had my third unsuccessful meal. I'm still not ready to throw them into the trash bin, but I find the execution of the dishes to be mediocre at best. I got the impression from more than one person that they were struggling with consistency in the first few months....some people raved, some bitched.
