I just wanted to share some photos from a recent endeavour. I have work to do, but frying chicken may be my new cooking-at-home project (supplanting pizza for a few weeks). There are also a few other photos I took that day, of my tomato plants and the soup I made to go with the chicken.

Looks much better than my version.
Nice true southern coloring on your chicken… not the psuedo-deep fried yellow color without “caramelization” seen at so many fast food places accomplished by thermometers and commercial deep fryers. Your chicken is the southern dream!
I’m hungry… 10 bucks says you used cast iron!
