The Second Pancake: 10 ways that puttanesca got its name

(The story I have always heard is not even in this top 10! I heard it was because puttanesca is a sauce that is quick to make, the men would go to their Comare (aka goomar) and have a quick lunch and put on some Al Green if you know what I’m talking about. Sex. That’s what I am referring to.)

  1. Glad you were intrigued by the butterbeans, get them while still at the market, you’ll be glad. Use lots of cream and butter-no skimping.

  2. I don’t know what to think about those Krispy Kreme bacon-cheddar cheeseburgers…it’s too early to think about them. The “plating” makes it even worse.
